JIKA JIKA INVESTMENTS. LDA, Designs, manages and executes infrastructures to capture, treat and conduct water through pipes for domestic consumption, public services and different economic activities, such as commercial stores, agribusiness and industries.
To make this possible, our company considers several factors to design all processes, such as operational, sanitary, financial, social and techno- logical aspects. This planning aims to bring water to everyone and, with that, achieve some objec- tives, among them:
1- Prevent diseases, especially those caused by water;
2- Contribute to urban cleaning;
3- Reduce infant mortality and increase people’s life expectancy;
4- Ensure more quality of life and well-being for the population;
5- Protect springs;
6- Ensure water quality control.
Jika Jika Investimentos has two types of sources for water supply, which are surface water (rivers, lakes, canals, etc.) and underground water (groundwater). Effectively these sources are not always separate. In its displacement through the earth’s crust, the water that is superficial in a certain place can be underground in a next stage and even return to being superficial later on.
